I painted these three on wooden blocks so that they hang in a small corner of my bus.
They have been treated with watercolor ground and painted with watercolor as well as Inktense colored pencils.
I worked on these while my father was in the hospital. It was more than therapeutic to spend my time on something productive and colorful at that time of my life. My father didn’t make it through his illness, so I still have these cheerful paintings to reflect on the beauty that survives through difficulty.
